Introduction

The RF (Radio Frequency module) provides reliable wireless communication for the transfer of data.

 

Most RF- module used in our day based on frequency modulation.
In FM, the carrier amplitude remains constant, while the carrier frequency is changed by modulating signal (base band signal).

FM is used to transmit digital data. When the modulating signal is binary, a binary 1 input produces one carrier frequency, and a binary 0 input produces another carrier frequency.

In our project , we will use  dual band FM wireless Transceivers  to transmit and receive the GPS  message  contained in air plane.


Main Objectives

  • This section aims to :

  1. Taking the GPS message from GPS receiver contained in the plane.
  2. Transmitting this message using RXQ1 RF module in transmission mode.
  3. Receiving this message using RF RX-module located at the base station.
  4. Entering the message to the computer via 9-pin PC serial port.

The GPS message is continuously transmitted to base station to indicate the position of the air plane . (i.e. The GPS acts as a position sensor.)
