Interface Card
Realization Of the Interface Card

For obtaining the required voltages for each channel we begin to generate these voltages from computer but we want to generate these voltages simultaneously for the four channels so we use the parallel port [1] with its data and control lines  and  because the output data from the parallel port [1] is in digital form so we use digital to analog  converter DAC[2] but there is a problem that we want to produce the required channels voltage at the same time but using only DAC[2] will not solve the problem so we use latches[3].
Each channel has its own latch and DAC.

  • The practical components used:

    1. Parallel port DIP25/f (centronic)
    2. Buffer 74ls125[4]
    3. Inverter7404[5]
    4. DAC0808[2]
    5. Latch74l2373[3]
    6. Op-Amp lf351[6]
    7. Regulators[7]
    8. 7805
    9. 7810
    10. 7815
